About Us

When?
Once a fortnight, on a saturday evening between the hours of 7pm - 10.30pm.(25 times a year approx) plus additional all day games are arranged at regular intervals throughout the year.

Who?

Membership is normally restricted to  Adults (16+ years), and Juniors(12-16).
Non-members are always welcome

What do we Play

While the club has always been predominately a Historical Club, all types of gaming are welcome and the members turn their hand to all types of land sea & ariel gaming including

How much does it cost?
A one off yearly membership fee or £2 per meeting and a smaller yearly membership fee, as explained  in the current
Club bye-laws and Constitution.
Charges are  reviewed each year to keep them as low as possible. They are used to cover the cost of the hall rental for Club meetings, any surplus goes towards general club expenditure, including Club demonstration tables.

CLUB FEES FOR THE YEAR 2009 - NO NIGHTLY FEE

ADULTS £35  FAMILY £35 + £5 PER JUNIOR (under16) JUNIOR £15
If you helped at Skelp 2008 then one £5 deduction can be made from the above

CLUB FEES FOR THE YEAR 2009 WITH A  NIGHTLY FEE OF £2
ADULT  £15  FAMILY £15 + £5 PER JUNIOR(under 16) JUNIOR £10

Big saving can be made by members who attend  on a regular basis by taking up the first option


Club Facilities?
In addition to providing a warm and central meeting place the club has a large selection of wargaming terrain available for use by members on club nights. The terrain is replaced and updated when required and requests for specific terrain will be considered favourably. There are also plenty of tables to go round. The club also has a Tuck shop where Cans & sweets an be bought along with facilitys for making Tea & Coffee
